Latornell Conservation Symposium Grants Are Available

The Latornell Conservation Symposium Grant (Latornell Grant) was established in memory of A.D. Latornell to support students and active conservation community members so that they may attend the annual Symposium. The Latornell Steering Committee selects and awards grant recipients based on the eligibility criteria and demonstration of need.

The Latornell Grant strives to support the participation and inclusion of Indigenous, Black, and other underrepresented groups to attend the annual Symposium. Creating welcoming opportunities for professional development, diverse perspectives, and meaningful conservations and partnerships to flourish strengthens collaborations and allows everyone to thrive professionally and collectively.
