Latornell Conservation Symposium- one of the premier gatherings of over 1,000 conservation practitioners and academics in North America! The Symposium is currently soliciting 12 university graduate or post-graduate students to moderate sessions at the Symposium, in exchange for FREE conference registration, meals and accommodation, and INCREDIBLE networking and learning opportunities.
This year’s theme is WATER: The future of the Source
How do we ensure we have enough clean, sustainable water sources for all our uses – for technologies, a resilient environment and for all of us individually? Delegates at this year’s A.D. Latornell Conservation Symposium will discuss Ontario’s water issues in the context of climate change, future demands, relationship of natural and built infrastructure and how it all relates to human health and water management.

The 2011 A.D. Latornell Conservation Symposium will be held from the morning of Wednesday, November 16 to the afternoon of Friday, November 18 at the Nottawasaga Inn in Alliston, Ontario. For more information, see the conference website at www.latornell.ca.
If you are interested in pursuing this exciting opportunity, note that positions are limited. Selections will be made by a selection committee, and preference will be given to those who have not moderated at the Symposium before.
