It’s easy being green … carpool to Latornell 2015!
Each year, the Steering Committee is contacted by delegates who are having some difficulty in arranging transportation to the Symposium. For the past two years a bus has been arranged, however due to low interest we will not be offering this service in 2015.
Same as previous years, we have created a special carpooling page to help ensure all delegates can get to the Symposium. Carpooling is a great way to make new friends and to contribute to the protection of our environment! You can add your name to this page as an indication that you are a) looking for a ride, or b) willing to offer a ride.
To learn more about carpooling to the Symposium, and to sign up, visit our Carpooling webpage.
From farm to table - local foods
Everyone knows that delicious food is one of the things that helps make Latornell so great! Each year, the Steering Committee works with the Nottawasaga Inn to promote local food sources at the Symposium. The Inn has been very helpful in ensuring that many of the menu items included are locally grown produce and farm raised products, which helps us support local growers and reduce our impact on the environment. You can get a sneak peak of this year’s menu here.
After reviewing the menu options, if you require a special prepared meal/and or meals please contact the Registrar with your request of suitable meals by Friday, October 30, 2015. On-site requests may not be accommodated.
