  • We’ll ‘tweet’ about you and encourage our followers to follow you!
  • Throughout the Symposium, there will be live Twitter feeds which will be showcased onsite in the Exhibitor’s Halls and Registration area.
  • The Symposium will use Twitter to acknowledge the Symposium Partners and to promote your programs, special products, contests or draws during the conference. Latornell will also retweet your Twitter messages onto the live Latornell feed.
  • Twitter users will be encouraged to follow our partner’s accounts by using #FollowFriday. Twitter users utilize this hashtag as a method of bringing attention to other Twitter accounts they find valuable or interesting.
  • Partners have an opportunity to publish a Guest Blog with us.
  • Partners will be provided with an opportunity to submit a ‘guest blog’ which will run either prior or post the Symposium. It will be circulated to Latornell blog followers and to Conservation Ontario’s larger stakeholder list.

Student Poster Call $2,000 (Exclusive)

  • This is our Symposium’s annual People’s Choice Awards. Mentor our brightest and support original graduate research – Student Posters
  • The Student Poster Call features approximately 20 original research projects from Canada’s undergraduate and graduate students (University of Toronto, Waterloo, Queen’s, Dalhousie, Guelph, Ryerson, and others)

Wine & Beer Card Draw $1,500 (Exclusive)

We offer a limited number of “hot” tickets for a timed sale during the Harvest Banquet on Tuesday evening. This is a chance to gain exposure for your organization by participating in this fun event. You will be at the stage podium drawing the winning tickets for these two draws and presenting the winners with the many bottles of wine or beer.

Bus Tour $1,500

With the generous support of organizations, we have been able to offer several field trips to our delegates on an annual basis. The financial support enables us to cover the cost of bus rental and a boxed lunch for the longer field trips.

Partnership Terms and Conditions

  1. Only those partners who are supportive of the mission of the Latornell Conservation Symposium will be considered for participation as a conference partner. The Latornell Symposium Steering Committee reserves the right to reject any partnership application.
  2. Partners are asked to provide full payment of partnership funds along with logo images (in requested format), and other details as required (such as correct use of partner’s name, trademarks, etc.) within 10 days of confirmation of their partnership.
  3. Cheques should be made payable to “Conservation Ontario” and sent to: Latornell Conservation Symposium

  4. Partnership of the Latornell Conservation Symposium does not include registration fees, unless specifically stated in the partnership opportunity details. Information regarding opportunity details can be found above.
  5. Partners may not sublet, assign or apportion any part of the item(s) sponsored nor represent, advertise or distribute literature or materials for the products or services of any other firm or organization except if approved in writing by the Latornell Symposium Steering Committee.
  6. The Latornell Symposium Steering Committee will not be liable for damage or loss to a partner’s properties through fire, theft, accident, or any other cause, whether the result of negligence or otherwise.
  7. Participation at the Latornell Symposium Steering Committee is restricted. Partnership of the conference does not include a seat at the Steering Committee.
  8. The Latornell Conservation Symposium Sessions are not open to Partnership.
