Registration Information

Registration Rates

All registrations received after Monday, October 3, 2011 must be accompanied by the LATE REGISTRATION RATES.

All registrations received after Monday, October 31, 2011 will be processed ON-SITE. Space is not guaranteed for on-site/walk-in registrations.

Students carrying at least 50% of a full-time course load qualify for half-price registration rates. Students must include their student identification number on the registration form, where indicated, in order to receive a discounted rate and must forward a clear photocopy of their student identification card (showing photo, name of institution and student identification number).

All rates quoted are in CDN funds and are subject to 13% HST.

Grants are available to eligible conservationists, non-governmental organizations and students to cover the cost of registration and accommodation. For more details, visit www.latornell.ca.

Registration Deadline

Please do not submit registrations after Monday, October 31, 2011. Registrations after that date will be processed on-site. Your registration is not complete until payment has been received.

Space Availability

Seating at all concurrent sessions is limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis as registrations are received. Session substitutions will only be allowed if space permits.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refunds will be provided to requests received in writing by Wednesday, October 26, 2011, less a $25 administrative fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after Wednesday, October 26, 2011. We cannot provide refunds for cancellations due to inclement weather. All refund cheques will be issued following the Symposium.

Attendee Substitutions

Attendee Substitutions are allowed by contacting the Registrar and supplying the name change before Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Substitutions are limited to one person per day.

What Your Registration Includes

Your 1 or 3-Day Package includes admittance to all Symposium sessions, lunch and coffee breaks for the day on which you are registered. All registrations include admittance to the Exhibit Gallery and Student Poster Display.

A complimentary Wednesday Harvest Banquet Dinner Ticket is included in the 3-Day Package and 1-Day (Wednesday) Pass. You must still order your dinner ticket by checking the appropriate box on the registration form if you wish to attend the Wednesday Dinner. There is no guarantee that dinner tickets will be available to be ordered on-site. Please order your ticket in advance.

A complimentary Thursday Banquet Dinner Ticket is included in the 3-Day Package and 1-Day (Thursday) Pass. You must still order your banquet ticket by checking the appropriate box on the registration form if you wish to attend the Thursday Banquet. There is no guarantee that banquet tickets will be available to be ordered on-site. Please order your ticket in advance.

* Note that the 3-Day Package and the 1-Day (Friday) Pass includes a Special Breakfast in the Conservation Dome at 7 a.m. (Speaker to be announced – see Program for more details).
