Are you passionate about conservation and environmental leadership? The Latornell Conservation Symposium—one of Ontario’s leading environmental conferences—brings together experts, policymakers, and changemakers to inspire action and innovation.

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals who currently work in conservation or environment to join our Steering Committee and help shape the future of the symposium.

This is a unique opportunity to:

• Collaborate with a dynamic team of conservation professionals from Conservation Ontario, Conservation Authorities, and partner organizations.
• Expand your professional network within the environmental and conservation sector.
• Contribute your talents by leading or supporting one of our sub-committees.
• Build valuable skills in conference planning and event management.

Sub-committees include:
Programming • Communications • Sponsorship • Registration • Logistics • DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) • Latornell Leadership Awards • Student Posters & Moderators • Professional Development • Grants • Webinars

Commitment:

• Minimum two-year term
• Active participation in monthly Steering Committee meetings, and Sub-committee Meetings.

We invite individuals currently working with Conservation Authorities, as well as those in the conservation and environmental sectors, to submit an application.
